Planning Spain trip for May 2017.
I am going to start my blogging adventure by documenting the planning of our upcoming trip. Like most of things in life, a successful trip does require planning. Over the years we have learned to enjoy the planning part as well. We can talk about our trips over a meal, on a walk, or any other time we get to spend together. Usually, it’s a lot of fun; unless it’s Christmas or a time when we are moving to a new house, and I feel like I cannot have an extra thought on my mind. Well, there is time for everything.
Choosing Destination
Some of our first big trips were like a dream come true so we were determined which place we wanted to visit. Our first trip to Spain had a lot to do with my husband’s love for soccer. Real Madrid has been his favorite team since he was about 7; and, of course, one of his dreams was to see his team play in real. It was very easy for me as well when it was my turn to pick our next big destination. No doubt, I wanted to go to Israel. It was definitely the place I wanted to visit since I can remember myself dreaming. I would definitely like to share those experiences in the future but will stick to our current planning for now.
This time we were very flexible when it came to choosing where to go next. We did have our share of a sunny beach last October, so now it is time for something more adventurous. We really enjoyed traveling French country a year ago; and, seeing more of Spain was definitely on the wish list.
During our first trip to Spain we mainly visited Madrid and Barcelona, the biggest cities in Spain. Now, it is time to see a lot more of what Spain has to offer. I must say, the incredible deals for the airline tickets made it easy when it came to making the final decision about where to go this time. Spain it is.
Have you been to Spain? What was your most memorable experience?
